Student Drop Off

Please use the right lane to quickly drop off your child.  Please do not park and wait for the bell to ring to let your child out of the car.  The left lane is the pass through lane.  Do not use this lane to drop off your child.  This will keep traffic flowing and will be safer for your child.

Reporting Absences
Please call 313-203-0341 if you child will need to miss school.
Counselor Appointments

Ms. Herd and Mrs. Stubbs are available to meet with you regarding any academic, social, or emotional concerns with your child.  It is recommended that you call or email your child's counselor to set up an appointment to see them. Often the counselors have their day scheduled or have other situations that arise during the day and are not available to give you their full attention when you stop in without an appointment.  The counselors want to be sure to devote time to you and your child, so having an appointment scheduled ahead of time will allow them to free up time for you as well as gather any information from teachers to help during your appointment.  Please contact Ms. Herd at (313) 203-3198 or herdkerr@dhsd7.net if you child's last name begins with the letters A-J or contact Mrs. Stubbs at (313) 203-3199  or stubbsan@dhsd7.net  if you child's last name begins with the letters K-Z .  The counselors look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year.
