The Halloween Dance is on Thursday, October, 27th, immediately after school. Tickets are $4 and are being sold during lunch. Costumes can be worn to school that day.
Ms. Herd and Mrs. Stubbs are available to meet with you regarding any academic, social, or emotional concerns with your child. It is recommended that you call or email your child's counselor to set up an appointment to see them. Often the counselors have their day scheduled or have other situations that arise during the day and are not available to give you their full attention when you stop in without an appointment. The counselors want to be sure to devote time to you and your child, so having an appointment scheduled ahead of time will allow them to free up time for you as well as gather any information from teachers to help during your appointment. Please contact Ms. Herd at (313) 203-3198 or email@example.com if you child's last name begins with the letters A-K or contact Mrs. Stubbs at (313) 203-3199
or firstname.lastname@example.org if you child's last name begins with the letters L-Z . The counselors look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year.
On Friday, October 7th O.W. Best Middle School kicked off our annual fundraiser! Your student will have a packet of information. All of the information is in the packet and instructions on the many different ways you can help this effort. Additional packets are available in the main office. We encourage everyone to participate. Remember: The money raised stays here in our school and directly impacts each student. The orders will be delivered before Thanksgiving. Thank you!"
